It was Valentine's Day. There was a couple of stores selling roses and other gifts in town.

那天是情人节。市中心有几家商店在卖玫瑰和其他礼物。

Went to Marina Square to shop for a washing machine for my mother-in-law.

去滨海广场为岳母买洗衣机。

After that looked for dinner. There was a 3 on 3 basketball event at the open area.

之后寻找晚餐。开放区域有一场 3 对 3 篮球比赛。

Decided to join the queue at Collin's. They had a Valentine's Day set but that didn't look interesting to me.

决定加入 Collin's 的排队。他们有情人节套餐，但对我来说看起来没什么吸引力。

Went in after queuing for a while.

排了一会儿队后进去了。

Sat at a table near the fish tank.

坐在鱼缸旁边的一张桌子旁。

Ordered a two-course and a three-course meals.

点了一份两道菜和一份三道菜。

Minestrone soup was a bit colder than I preferred.

蔬菜通心粉汤没那么热。

The three-course had the fried calamari as appetizer.

三道菜的开胃菜是炸鱿鱼。

My wife and I both had the Chinese New Year chicken chop and riblet for the main course.

我和太太都点了农历新年鸡排和排骨作为主菜。

Strangely our drinks were last deserved. Ordered a still satisfied with the dinner although it cost more than $61.

奇怪的是，我们的饮料是最后才上的。尽管花费超过 61元，但我还是对这顿晚餐感到满意。
