Leaving Takashimaya Shopping Centre, passing by one of few remaining Kinokuniya book stores in Singapore.

离开高岛屋购物中心，路过新加坡仅存的几家纪伊国屋书店之一。

Saw a rather new restaurant at the basement.

在地下层看到了一家相当新的餐厅。

Went by MRT train to Singapore Recreation Club for lunch. Had a Hainanese Pork Chop with rice.

乘地铁去新加坡康乐俱乐部吃午餐。点了一份海南猪排饭。

This one cost about $14 and was different from the one from Han's which I like but still not too bad.

这道菜大约14元，和我喜欢的Han's餐厅的不一样，但还不错。

It was quite a big lunch so I decided to take a walk. It was hot but not very hot that day but they were doing work clearing the NDP area and the place was dusty and I walked towards National Gallery on the right.

午餐吃得挺饱的，所以我决定出去走走。那天天气不算很热，但他们正在清理国庆庆典区，那里尘土飞扬。我朝右边的国家美术馆走去。

I went inside.

我走了进去。

Went down one level and saw a calm room which I thought I should try. Maybe next time.

下了一层，看到一个安静的房间，我觉得应该去试试。下次再去吧。

The little hammocks are not nomally there.

小吊床不是一直都在那里的。

There was an interesting exhibits which I went in…

Went out at the far end and hoped I had avoided the dust outside.

Crossed the road to Victoria Concert Hall. I saw you could climb the clock tower. Interesting, I thought. I checked out the QR code but you have to booked and paid $50 per person. Well, going to buy my Toto tickets later today for the $10 millon dollar draw on Thursday.

穿过马路来到维多利亚音乐厅。我看到可以爬上钟楼。我觉得挺有意思的。我看了看二维码，但需要提前预约，每人50新元。好吧，今天晚些时候我要去买周四千万元开奖的多多彩票。

The Old Parliament House is not a Art House. This was where things that matter to the nation were discussed and decisions were made thereafter.

旧国会大厦不是艺术殿堂。这里是讨论国家大事、随后做出决定的地方。

Walked towards the Singapore River. Say "hi and bye" to Raffles. A reminder of how the platoon sergeant told us how not to stand.

走向新加坡河。和莱佛士打招呼。想起了排长告诉我们不要像他那样站。
