After checking into the hotel, headed out for lunch but went outside the hotel to take few photos first. First, the hotel building.
入住酒店后，出去吃午餐，但先到酒店外面拍了几张照片。 首先是酒店大楼。

Passed through High Line where there were bars on both sides when we went looking for the place my wife wanted to go to have lunch.

It took a while before we found the place.

Sat at a table in the middle

It was quite clear then and you could see the cable cars outside.
那时天气算不错，你可以看到外面的缆车。
We shared a pattaya tofu which was nice.
我们分享了一份很好吃的芭堤雅豆腐。
We also had fish fillet bee hoon. However, was a bit disappointed with the standard of the fried fish this time and the bee hoon seemed less than we remembered. After this time, we won't miss it as much as before.
我们还吃了鱼片米粉。 然而，对这次炸鱼的水准有点失望，而且米粉似乎比我们记忆中的要少。 过了这一次，我们就不会再像以前那样怀念了。
Cost $78.55 (MYR) which wasn't too bad and I use my Youtrip card which converted to 22.54 SGD.

That's how it mostly is like up there.
It looks like you had quite the adventure at the hotel and during lunch. I could picture you taking those photos and navigating through the search for the perfect lunch spot. The struggle to find the place your wife wanted to go to is real 🤣
By the way, I checked out the music you shared, and it's a fantastic choice. Vivaldi's "Spring" is always a mood lifter. Thanks for sharing.
Next time, maybe the fish fillet bee hoon will live up to your memories, or perhaps it's best to stick to the pattaya tofu. Can't go wrong with good tofu, right? 😄
