Went to Toa Payoh North to check out a coffee shop that was taken over by a new operator. Open for 24 hours and there are more than a few stores.

去大巴窑北看看一家被新经营者接管的咖啡店。24小时营业，店面不小。

Decided to get soup with rice from this store.

决定从这家店买汤配米饭。

The pumpkin rice for $1.30 is only a little bowl. There wasn't a lot of fish in the American Ginseng Slice Fish Soup that cost $7.50. Also didn't taste any ginseng taste in the soup. Disappointed.

$1.30的南瓜饭只是一小碗。$7.50 的花旗参鱼片汤里鱼很少。汤里也没有人参的味道。很失望。

Maybe I should have gotten the lei cha from them instead.

也许我应该从他们那里买擂茶饭。

Next time, may try the cai fan stall.
