Wood Ear Fungi

The scene that suddenly caught my eye while walking this morning was truly an extraordinary experience. Sometimes, in midst natural beauty, you come across things that not only calm the mind, but also arouse wonder. I was initially amazed when I looked at this strange and unique mushroom growing on wood. Its structure, color, and shape all seem be a unique work art nature. Seeing it, I felt how diverse and beautiful God's creation really is—Masha'Allah.

A brown and slightly transparent glow appeared on the mushroom. When you look closely, it looks like a piece soft rubber. In some places, it is folded, and in some places it is smooth. Its edges are slightly wavy, which is great see. When the morning sunlight reflected on the mushroom, it seemed brighter and more alive. I stood there enjoying it for a long time, then decided capture this moment on camera.

I slowly took out my mobile and took a few pictures from different angles. In the first picture, the soft texture and inner lines of the mushroom were clearly visible. In second picture, several more mushrooms same species were standing out from the gap in the wood. It seemed if they were all hugging each other. Looking at the pictures, I kept thinking that nature never really runs out, but rather creates a new wonder in each its forms.

This mushroom usually grows in rural areas or old wood, in humid environments. They are more common after rain. It is truly a blessing to find such a beautiful natural scene even in the concrete of the city. Because such a scene is not seen every day. Those who love nature know how precious such moments are. This experience this morning will be very special for me.

Looking at the mushroom, I felt how much nature teaches us. Such as patience, gratitude for beauty and recognizing the signs of Allah's creation. We miss many such small beauties in the hustle and bustle everyday life. Yet these small things can bring joy our hearts. The folds mushroom's body, its structure or the way it grows together with the wood - all teach us how survive beautifully even in limited spaces.

While taking these pictures, I felt like they were silent poems of nature. There are no words, no sounds, just silence and a kind of beauty. Such a beauty that touches the heart. Many may dismiss these as ordinary things, but for those who know how find beauty within nature this extraordinary gift.

This mornings experience reminded me again that every day life has something new learn, see, and appreciate. We just have open our eyes and look. There is a sign of Allah hidden in every creation of nature, and seeing them makes me want to say in amazement—Mashallah, what a wonderful creation!

This photography collection is not just pictures, but will remain a special memory for me. Whenever I look at these pictures, I will remember that morning, that suddenly captured scene, and that priceless moment of joy.
