Natures Momentary Guest: An Extraordinary Grasshopper Seen in the Field

Nature constantly presents us with various amazing scenes. We may ignore many of these beauties in our busy lives.I was a witness one such moment when while wandering around fiel I suddenly caught sight extraordinarily colorful grasshopper.

The grasshopper was sitting thin branch wings sparkling in sunlight. Such delicate transparent wings, like a magical work art. The yellow and black stripes on its body were like the perfect brush strokes nature itself. At that moment, I picked up camera and captured this momentary guest for a few moments.

Although the grasshopper is a familiar animal our rural Bengal, it is a masterful example natures biodiversity. It is truly amazing not only in its color, but also in its structure, flight posture, and eye structure. This grasshopper eyes were especially large and bright, as if it could see everything from hundreds directions. Grasshoppers' eyes are actually compound eyes, which allow them see 360 degrees.

However, identifying grasshoppers is not an easy task they can vary in color and structure depending region and weather. However, what is common among all them is that they play an important role in maintaining the balance environment.

Grasshoppers mainly hunt insects especially mosquitoes flies etc. Therefore, their importance natural pesticide is immense. Their presence near agricultural fields usually indicates a healthy environment. The field where I saw the grasshopper was also like that—a paradise surrounded greenery, full bushes.

Meeting this little creature was like finding some inner peace. Such moments, away from the stress of work and the hustle and bustle of the city, awaken new love for life. After taking the picture, I stood looking at it for a while, if I wanted stop time for a while.

For those us who are interested in photography, such scene is like a golden deer. The light, the color, the texture everything was absolutely perfect. Nature sometimes presents us with unique image in its own way, all it takes is little patience an attitude observation.

This experience taught me think anew—how much extraordinary beauty is hidden even in small creatures! Nature is constantly telling stories around us, all we need is a mind to listen eyes see.
