I have already mentioned in my previous article how much I loved die-cast buses and trucks. I had even showcased them. In this article, I am just referring to the artistic representation of them in two specific forms.

The metallic buses look absolutely stunning in two forms – comic book pixelated form and the canvas painting form.

Two Types of Art | Comic Book Pixelated Art | And Canvas Painting Style

These are two types of art that most of humanity would know about.

All comic readers of this world would know how an image or character appears in a comic book or manga. Some of the old art had a pixelated look to it. So, the pixelated art is all about that comic book look from yesteryears. Today, we have digital print that appears quite detailed on paper. The older ones had a blunt look to which I loved. The comparison is similar to Eastman color of yesteryears vs. digital colors of today in the case of visual media.

That’s the reason I chose this as one art form to represent the die-cast goodies.

The second art form is the canvas painting style. While canvas painting has been around for centuries, and I don’t even have to elaborate, I can say this – die-cast in canvas painting form looks very nice. In fact, it is like blending two different generations separated by centuries together.

And that’s the reason for the choice of the second art form.
