It's a new week, and I am excited to write again to participate in the Splinterlands Engagement Challenge. Today, I will share a post showcasing one of the modern format battles. It's fantastic, and I would like you all to watch it. This was a Modern Format battle from the Seasonal Battles, and I won it. I learned some lessons from it, so I am sharing them with you all.

The battle lasted five rounds; the ruleset was 'Standard Ruleset'. It was an interesting battle. It was a 62-mana condition battle with all six elements active to choose from: Earth, Water, Death, Life, Fire, and Dragon. I had six monsters in my team lineup, and my opponent also had six monsters in their team lineup.

The AURELIA summoner was used, and it is a Conclave Arcana card with one special ability it offers: an increase in health to all my monsters in the team lineup. My card is a level 1, and this summoner's mana cost is 6. It is an Earth element summoner.

The first-place monster in my team lineup was the ULUNDIN OVERSEER, an 11-mana-cost monster with one unique ability. It has no attack damage, 0 melee attack, 12 health, 5 armor protection, and 1 speed. It is a level-one monster and has no attack. It has the Flank ability, which grants the second-position monster the reach ability. It attacks the first position card of my opponent's team lineup.

The second-place monster in my team lineup was the GRIMBARDUN FIGHTER, a 9-mana-cost monster with one unique ability. It has a melee attack damage, 3 melee attacks, 6 health, 1 armor protection, and 2 speed. It is a level-one monster and a melee attack. It has the Shield ability, which grants the second-position monster the reach ability.

The sixth place in my team lineup was the DREAD TAFARIAN, a 9-mana-cost monster with one unique ability. It has melee attack damage, 1 melee attack, 6 health, 1 armor protection, and 2 speed. It is a level-one monster and has a melee attack. It possesses the Heal Ability, which allows it to restore 1/3 of its max health at the start of each round in the battle.

Surprisingly, I won the battle with only my last monster being eliminated, and the Dread Tafarian monster was able to maintain its first position and defend the battle for me, leading to my win at the end of it all. My monster went as low as 1 health remaining, but still came back by restoring its health to win the battle. I couldn't believe my eyes what I saw in the battle after it ended.

I won this battle in eighteen rounds, and only one of my team members was eliminated. My first expectation was that I couldn't win this battle, but once I eliminated the first monster on my opponent's team lineup.
