The strangest beliefs- Weekend Engagement

Before going ahead, I am in no position to judge the beliefs of people. It is their personal matter and I usually refrain from being judgmental. However, there are a lot of strange beliefs in our region which seem pointless and rather controversial.

This is a shrine that I personally visited to confirm that people do it or not and I saw so many people bow in front of the grave. These are my friends there.
I would like to share with you one belief that is asking from dead people. Yes, you heard me. We have a lot of graves and shrines here and people from lower social strata show strong reverence to these graves. These graves are mostly of sufi saints, important historical personalities. People come and visit such shrines and ask for their demands, needs and desires to be fulfilled in return they give their sincere devotion.

Now, I find it strange because what they are doing is wrong. The graves are the burial places of people like them. The people are dead and have no power to do anything. It is the almighty force who can do wonders. My religion strictly forbids this belief and practice, sadly people still indulge in these practices.

I personally have no beliefs of such kind. I do believe that whatever happens, happens for a reason. There is always something that we can learn and attain even from the worst possible situations. It can be a life lesson that can strengthen us in tough situations of life. It might sound strange to you, but it seems rational to me.
