Children and their cellphone addiction - my little cousin

"Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work." - C.S. Lewis

Hello everyone, I hope you all are fine today. I am going to share a very important and relevant thought. It is about children using cellphones for many, many hours. So, we do not have a child at our home because my siblings are not married, and I am not married as well. And this is the little child of my uncle.

My uncle and his wife are always busy in different things, and they leave their daughter here with us in our home. She stays with us for many, many hours, and she only cries for cellphone. This is, for me, a very bad style of parenting. They should be very careful about handling their child, and they are not sensitive about it.

I am reading a book about parenthood, and I have read different things about it that children are like a vessel, and we should be very cautious about nurturing them. They leave their child here for many hours, and she is at our mercy. Whatever she learns, she learns from us. But one thing that she has learned is from her parents that they are very careless, and they give her their cellphone whenever she cries.

She comes here with their cellphone, she cries when I snatch it, and I believe it is their responsibility to take care of her, but they are not willing to do it. Because they are focused on their career and not on their child. It is very sad for me to realize, and I hope and pray that she becomes a very enthusiastic, energetic, and hopeful individual when she grows up.

She is a very adorable child, and I have high expectations for her. I have taken care of her as my little cousin, and that is all I can say. I hope you understand the message. I hope you understand the depth of it, and I really look forward to hearing from you because this is a very important message, and I really wish that someone of you has learned this important message.

I cannot emphasize more on that children watch YouTube shorts, and they do not realize that it is shortening their attention span. They become cranky and annoying, and they do not learn and do not focus on their studies when they are using cellphones. YouTube shorts are so cringe, and they directly attack their attention span. The brightness of cellphones so affects their eyesight, which means it is very destructive.

I believe that children should use cellphones only for a maximum of one hour in reward for the work that they do; it is called good parenting.

Thank you everyone for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Do follow my account for more such content. Have a nice day ahead. Take care.
