Chances of a cosmetic surgery?

“When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.”
― Jess C. Scott, The Intern

Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your weekends to the fullest. I am doing the same. I have been upto something really important these days and trying to sort my routine out too.

This is my entry to the #weekend-engagement. I would like to talk about whether I would get a cosmetic surgery or not.

The answer, for me, is a very clear no. Your answer may differ from mine and I would respect that. However, there are multiple reasons to justify why I would not get a cosmetic surgery.

One of the major reasons is that God has created me this way and God does not make mistakes. I know this sounds very religious but it is what it is. Religion is a very important facet of my life. There must be some injunctions giving space for all sorts of surgeries from a religious point of view, but having a cosmetic one stands different for me.

Other than that, I have learnt to accept myself as I really am. I think that this acceptance takes very long time for people. Thankfully, I have prioritized myself and this is turning out to be a good decision.

Also, getting a cosmetic surgery is more of society oriented. It is done to please more eyes and catch more eye balls. People such as actors and models do that to look younger and it is their job. I am not an actor or model and I do not need to attract more eye balls. I am an introvert already and that scenario would get me out of my comfort zone.

I have seen some of the videos on social media in which some of the cosmetic surgeries did not turn out as they were expected. This horrifies me that after spending a hefty amount, if I do not look good, then what is the point of all that?
Would you get a cosmetic surgery?

I share the same opinion as you. I don't think ordinary people need any kind of facial or cosmetic surgery. God has created us as we are, and we shouldn't try to change things like this. I'm already frightened by seeing Pakistani actor Alizeh Shah's face, which looks horrible after surgery. She was very cute and adorable before surgery

You're right. She had an innocent face which does not seem relatable now. Thanks for your comment.

Are you enjoying it here?
