Hey everyone. I hope you all are fine. I am doing well too. This is my entry to the #weekend-engagement contest. I would like to talk about the best thing that I have heard and love about Australia.

I have heard that it is a very beautiful and welcoming city. However, I admire and amaze at how amazing are the Australians when it comes to cricket. I am a die hard cricket fan and I have been watching cricket since 2011 which means it has been almost 13 years. I have seen the dominance of this team in all the international contest and bilateral series.

I came across the fact that this dominance is not recent, this team has been dominating for decades now. It has produced cricketing legends like Ricky Ponting and Glen Mcgrath and Sir Don Bradman. All of them have outstanding stats. What I find best and craziest about this team is that it always finds a way to win the games from nowhere. For example the recent world cup which was held in India in 2023, they lost their first games, but went on to win the rest and beat the host India in the final claiming their 6th world cup. This is the craziest thing!!

It is no shame in accepting that Australian cricket team has dominated Pakistan cricket team in so many games. The world cup semifinal of 2021 bears witness to it. They have been remarkable across formats of the game be it twenty overs or a test match.

Recently in January of this year, my country, Pakistan visited Australia for 3 test matches. At many instances during the games, Pakistan had an upper hand, but Australia managed to clinch victories out of thin air.

I was completely awestruck by the innings of Glenn Maxwell against Afghanistan where he scored a double hindered and won an impossible game. He is one of my favorites from Australia. I just loved watching him play.

The Australian Women Cricket team is also showing dominance in recent years. They have won the recent edition of t20 world cup. As a die hard cricket fan, this team will always be my favorite and that inning of Maxwell be my all time favorite ODI innings.
