A tribute to urdu literature.
Hey guys, I hope you all are fine. I am also doing well. Today, I am going to share my thoughts about Urdu literature. Urdu is not my first language or my mother tongue. But it is a very commonly spoken language in my country, and in neighboring countries as well.
I really think that it is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Because there are so many movies, dramas, and pictures created in this language, and it is not just in these years, it has been created for many, many years. So, I don't think that people are any alienated from this language. And I am sure there must be some of you who have read or heard about Urdu language.
So, I have been studying in the library, and there are so many Urdu literature books. These are in the form of novels, history books, self-help books, informational dictionaries, and the collection is vast.
I am currently studying for a competitive examination, which is taken in English language, but the amount of Urdu literature that is available here is overwhelming.
And it is so sad to know that very few of the people are reading these Urdu books. And I was wondering, when I was in this room, that the people who have written these books are so clever. These books are from so many years ago, and I believe that every book is a good book. You will never find a bad book. Books are always there to educate you.
People try to read novels in English, but I think that novels written in Urdu language are far more influential and have a very serene and beautiful description. I have read one Urdu novel, which is called Pire Kamil, which translates into English as "A Complete Leader" or "Perfect Leader." And it was one of the finest reads I have ever read.
I am here to simply appreciate and pay tribute to Urdu literature. And I insist to those who can read Urdu to at least read one book of Urdu literature every month, or every one month or two months, depending upon your capacity to read books. I am today encircled and surrounded by Urdu literature, and these books are so well-written.
I will try to read one of the books apart from my curriculum and syllabus, and I will try to review it for you all. Thank you so much. I will leave you to this, and I will see you in the next blog.
Thank you everyone for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Do follow my account for more such content. Have a nice day ahead. Take care.
