Yes, the slave trade is a bad thing on the resume of Portugal, but I just want to talk about the discoveries of the Portuguese explorers for a minute. I just want to appreciate that how much they have contributed to the knowledge of the world and how so much we know only because these few explorers dared to know the unknown.
