Being a minimalist in my whole life is something I enjoy doing even though I know that a lot of people find it boring because they feel paying for everything makes it easy and not stressful.
So many of my friends see it as me being stingy but that’s not it. To me, I’m just trying to manage what I have so that I will be able to save some money.

Imagine me paying someone for something I can easily do by myself. That doesn’t speak well to me so I see it as a way of exercising my body and also saving some money.

Three days ago, I texted a lady who does manicure and pedicure. My toe nails were long and I wanted to cut them off then wash my legs and scrub the back. Then, she said that I will be paying $10 for that. That is a whole lot of money here. As a minimalist, the best thing was to scrub the back of my leg and also cut my toe nails and it came out well.

This was how I saved myself from paying $10 for something I can actually do by myself.
That’s the benefit of being a minimalist. So many people complain about my lifestyle but it saves me from spending money unnecessarily so I don’t care about what people say. I’m loving it this way.

This also makes me remember how my friends laugh at me because I take the cheap sachet water. The funny thing is that the sachet water I take is as clean as the bottled water we have around here but a lot of people think that anyone who takes sachet water is broke.

This is the sachet water and this sachet water can fill up the bottle as well so why will I take the bottled water which is more expensive?

There are so many times when people think I’m too stingy but they have failed to understand that it is just an act of minimalism and I’m happy about my lifestyle.
