Water people with kind words and the world is a better place
Morning Ritual
I had a lovely chat with ye yesterday about light and what it means to me.
The post was bourne out of standing on the morning grass and soaking in sun powerful and enriching early morning sun. I sat and enjoyed the sun and tea.
I then walked bare foot on the wet cool grass and it felt good. It felt really good.
The simple things in life.
The beauty in the habitual and the banal.
The joy of life.
Family.
Love.
Breathing.
Being alive.
Water
The plants and flowers need not just light, but water too. Metaphorically I try to water those around me with kindness and time. I try to listen and be there for people. Whether family, neighbour, friend or stranger.
My plants though don't deal in metaphors, their kindness needs to be physical in the form of H2O, so that's what I did next this morning. I watered the plants, as it's been unseasonably dry this April and May so far.
If you've plants, don't forget to water them in the early morning or late evening when the sun is low in the sky.
If you have humans in your life, as almost every one of us has, don't forget to water those relationships. Kindness is free to distribute and guess what it permeates inwards too and you'll better. It also travels, and the person you watered with kindness may well pass it on in their next human interaction.
The opposite is also true I'm afraid. If you are impatient, angry or mean to somebody, guess what happens?
It doesn't stop there.
That energy manifests and will be passed on to a son, a daughter, a friend, a stranger, a beggar.
So try to bring some light into people's day in your interactions.
A simple question.
A smile.
A greeting.
I'll leave you with a few photos of water to copperfasten my perspective.
Have a wonderful day.
Be the half door to someone's happiness.
Thanks as always for stopping by everyone
Peace Out

Thanks @ewkaw 🫶
