Vino Tinto on Holidays in Spain

Bargain

I wouldn't be a huge wine drinker by any stretch of the imagination but I do like a glass of red from time to time especially with a meal and my favorite red wines are typically Spanish and Portuguese so it's always a lovely treat when I come to Spain and I can pick up a really nice bottle red for about four or five or six euro.

Talk about a bargain at home a standard bottle will cost you about 9 or 10 euros and a good bottle will be 20 or 25 or 30 euro.

One of days I'll have to try to get talking to a wine expert over there who can point me in the direction of really good bottle because if I pay 20 or 30 euros for a bottle over there, it's likely to be off exceptional quality.

Taiwan on the holiday I figured out for the supermarket was headed down to pick up a few bits as I usually do when we arrive on holidays as we usually have breakfast at the house but it's always handy to have a few beers your bottles of wine knocking around for when the kids go to bed in the evening. Mostly other meals like lunches and dinners and enjoyed out at the local restaurants.

So when I was down at the local supermarket I spotted this bottle of red which I thought might be nice and I was right it was really nice. I enjoyed it over a couple of evenings after the kids had gone to bed.

Do you know what goes perfectly with a glass or red wine off an evening??

Yep you guessed it... looking at the picture below, a little bit of chocolate. Ideally it will be dark chocolate or even orange flavored chocolate orange but in this case I made do with a bag of Malteesers which were also fantastic.

Pour a nice glass of red. Stick few tunes on Spotify. Catch up on a few posts and comments on hive. Then sit back and enjoy some delicious red wine and chocolate.
