Anyone who knows me in real life knows that I love sport.

Come to think of it, anyone who knows me on Hive knows that I love sport.

I'm the first to admit that I'm competitive too!

Karting? I want to win.

Darts? I want to win.

Pool or Snooker? I want to win.

The same with all sports including two of my favourites soccer and golf.

To be fair the competitive streak is mainly confined to sports and games.

Anyway I just wanted to drop you a note telling you that I'll be in Portrush for the Open Championship on Saturday and Sunday and I can't wait. Hopefully some drama unfolds.

What are the pros after?

Not too bad at all. My three outsider tips of Bezuidenhout(110/1 12 places), Finau (110/1 12 places) and Tom Kim (100/1 10 places) all going well and win fancies McIlroy, Lowry, McIntyre, Hovland and Fleetwood all in contention.

Poor Tommy had some rotten luck today and grinded out an impressive 73 keeping him in it. I expect Tommy to shoot in the 60s tomorrow to make the cut ✂️
