Staple beer

Hazy Jane from Brewdog is a good staple beer to have in the fridge. I've yet to meet someone who doesn't like these bad boys.

I've been out for a few pints of Guinness with friends since this post, but I forgot to take photos, so this week's Beer Saturday post is a bit funky in two ways.

Firstly this Beer Saturday post is going out on a Sunday. Secondly, it's a throw back to two weeks ago on Sunday April 13th, as Rory McIlroy was about to put us all through the ringer!

As shop bought pizzas go, this one is an absolute winner.

Speaking of winners, Rory did the business in the Masters too and became only the sixth man ever to complete the golf grand slam of Open Championship, US Open, USPGA and finally the Masters. I liked what he said afterwards:

"It’s the best day of my golfing life and I'm very proud of myself, proud of never giving up. I'm proud of how I kept coming back and dusting myself off and not letting the disappointments get to me. It's a dream come true. I have dreamt about this moment for as long as I can remember.

This feels incredible. It’s my 17th time here, and I started to wonder if it would ever be my time. I think the last 10 years of coming here with the burden of the Grand Slam on my shoulders, it weighed on me and I'm sort of wondering what we're going to talk about going into next year's Masters! I'm absolutely honored and thrilled, and so proud to be able to call myself a Masters champion"
