Guinness on St. Patrick's Day for Beer Saturday
Guinness
I suspect that most of you won't need to be reminded that last Monday March 17th was St. Patrick's Day, a celebration of all things Irish. It's a big celebration here in Ireland and it spreads to the Irish diaspora around the world, as you can see from these famous landmarks that went green on Monday 💚
Here in Galway, there was a parade through town, with local sports clubs, music groups and others. The parade was excellent and our whole family marched in it as usual, as our three sons play for the club and I'm one of the coaches.
Here's a few photos from the parade:
A pint with friends
After the parade we went for coffee and then brought the kids to a playground for an hour or so, then it was time for my playground where I met some friends for a few pints.
Until next time Beer Saturdayorians...
Oh by the way...
How was your Beer Saturday?
Where were you?
What was the drink of choice?
Who was with you?
Are those your feet?
How's your auld one?
Any other craic?

I heard about St. Patrick's day, but I didn't know it's such a huge celebration. So cool you've had time to take some pints with your friends! 😁
Ya the Irish all over the world celebrate this day. Always a fun day with friends amd family and a national holiday, so a day off work too 👍🏻
We don't have this holiday, but if it's a lovely event in your country, it should be spiced up with beer!
Ya it's a good day out, emphasis on day. It tends to get very messy at night with lots of overly drunk youths, but the day time is always good 👍🏻
Greetings, here in the Philippines we don't have this kind of holiday but it sure looks fun. And I bet you and your family are having fun as well. And beer to cheer up the day
the Philippines would be a great place to visit. I've travelled around Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, but never made it to the Philippines. Maybe some day 👍🏻
