AM AM golf fund raisers
As you know, I like to play golf and as part of this, I sometimes get invited to play in AM AMs or enter teams into them with some friends.
I played three this year, one for my local soccer team's fundraising efforts, one for my son's primary school and one for a local hurling team. It's a nice way to give something back and my team actually featured in the prizes at two of them.
The photos from above were from the Salthill Devon AM AM which was held at the nicest of the three golf courses, Galway golf club.
The course was immaculate and we had a fine feed afterwards too.

Always seen golf as kind of a classist sport for some reason. I can only see myself taking it up if I get a serious injury that prevents me from running...lol. It can be entertaining though
Placing in two of the AM AMs is sweet, that shows you kept it steady under charity day pressure. The Salthill Devon day at Galway Golf Club sounds like the standout with a proper feed after, that always makes the round feel complete :) Love that you tied your g;olf hobby to real community help, thsi combo is the good stuff. Even if my card would look messy, seeing funds go to the school and local teams would make it worth it, and you plcaed too, win win.
