Trying to do some things on my phone, and suddenly my eyes went to some children that were playing across the area where I was sitting, the children of the staff in the other compound, it’s the holiday period, so they came with their parents to work.

Playing is an integral part of children’s lives. They were outside playing with the elder girl with her twin sisters.

As they were playing, the elder sister crossed a high drainage system to the other side of the platform. The junior, seeing that she also wanted to move across where her sister was but couldn’t due to the height, so her elder sister offered to help her.

Seeing her trying to carry her across but couldn’t, she kept on trying until a passerby scolded her to leave her so as not to wound her, she insisted, although she pursed while the person was scolding her, but continued as she left….

Children and daring things… I kept on watching. She managed to drag herself across, but due to the concrete of the drainage system, she bruised her leg.

The elder sister couldn’t lift her, but wanted to make sure she succeeded in bringing her to the other side. When she noticed her little sister was wounded, she was scared.

Then her mother came out and asked what had happened. Instead of telling her mother what happened, she told a lie that her little sister wanted to use the toilet, which was because the girl was squatting due to the pain in her leg.

Her mother told her to come so she could assist, but on getting to her, she noticed it was something else. The mother scolded her. What she was afraid of, within a few moments, she was so calm, and I was feeling for her.

She was just trying to behave the big sister in which she was.
