Giving The Right Advice - A Freewrite
Sitting on one of the sofas in my house, and was reminiscing over my day, what I did achieve and what I did not, what's my plan for tomorrow and the stuff like that.
Fortunately, the light came up and I went to charge my phone, while trying to do some stuff on the phone, an old-time friend call came up.
At first, I was like Why is she calling because the last time we spoke was close to 4 years ago.
Still hesitating whether to pick up or not, I finally made up my mind to pick up. The conversation started, we greeted cordially, and I was quiet for her to speak up on why she called.
She started by saying she needed a piece of advice and told me what was up. She told a well-wisher to advise her on certain things, and she wasn't comfortable with it, while she was ruminating on it, I came to her mind since I have gone through that process in my life and what my take is.
On hearing her side of the story, I began by asking her some personal questions on what she wanted, your state of mind concerning the situation, and she told me everything. I said that's fine..

Whenever you are at a crossroads in life, well-wishers and others will want to supply you with advice, and some will even want to enforce the advice on you. At the end of our conversation, her spirit was lit up, and I was happy to be of help. ...
