Genus Chrysomya

In the midday sun of summer, a broken ripe jackfruit lies in a corner of the village courtyard. The yellow peel of the fruit has burst, revealing the sweet inside, and a strong aroma spreads all around it. The smell seems to have attracted countless flies from all sides. Hundreds of flies are sitting together on the jackfruit, some in the gap between the peel, some on the shell, and some buzzing around. The sweet sticky juice of the broken jackfruit is like a strange banquet for them. The desire for ripe jackfruit seems to have spread all around, which is why many insects have arrived. When viewed from a distance, the scene looks quite strange and intriguing. The yellow hue of the jackfruit and the black flies densely sitting on it create a kind of contrast. A continuous buzzing sound seems to be playing in the air, which fills the entire environment. Occasionally, a group of flies fly up and suddenly land on another part of the fruit. Seeing their busyness, it seems as if they are feasting together. This broken jackfruit has created a special moment not only for the flies but also for nature. The smell of ripe jackfruit is spreading all around, attracting other insects as well. People, looking at this scene from a distance, appreciate a unique form of small yet diverse life in nature. On the one hand, the sweet aroma of the fruit, and on the other hand, the buzzing sounds of the flies have created a strange atmosphere, which many may find annoying, but in the eyes of nature lovers, it is a natural and wonderful picture of life. While seeing and enjoying everything, I was trying to capture beautiful photos from very close up. Because I really enjoyed doing this photography and I was very happy and happily photographing the flies.
