That arrogant Hospital Nurse

You must have seen how we are influenced by people who have more power than us. Many times we come across a person who is many times more powerful than us and seeing his power we think that if only we had this much power, then today we too could have won with so much luxury. Every person wants that he should have more power than any other person so that he can prove himself more powerful and the world gets influenced by him. Now let us talk about how power comes. There are two types of people who are powerful, one is those who earn more money by doing wrong things and become powerful, while the other people are those who reach a high position by studying, working hard and making maximum efforts and they are also called powerful. Now the question arises that when you have become powerful, then how do you use your power. Some people use their power for good works and use their power in a legal manner, while there are others who use their power for their own benefit and do not bother to see whether the work they are doing is legal or illegal. Those people are only concerned about their own benefit and nothing else.

Nowadays it has become the case that the person who is more powerful uses his power more for the public. You can see how we get news in today's time in the news or social media that the person who is in power, this powerful person uses his power in wrong deeds so that he can benefit himself. If seen, now it has become a common thing that the person who has power will use his power more for his own benefit.

You must have seen how powerful people are ruling the roost these days and many times I have seen here also that even a person with the highest post is helpless in front of a powerful person. I have been observing for the last many years and I get to hear in the news every day that if any case is filed against a powerful person, then it is just for a formality, otherwise that person openly lives his life with complete freedom and enjoys his luxury and it does not matter to him whether a case is filed against him or anything else. This thing is a slap on the face of the constitution of any country because if the constitution says here that every person is equal then the rules should also be same for every person. On the other hand, if any case is filed against a weak person, even if he has not done anything in the first place, then strict action is taken against him and he is humiliated in such a way that his confidence is crushed.

This incident happened almost 3 years ago when my younger brother was admitted in a hospital in our city for some stomach related diseases. My brother was admitted for 3 days so I stayed there overnight because there should be someone to stay there overnight. I had dinner at around 10:00 pm and after that I was sitting there for a while, then I saw that my brother was suddenly having a lot of pain in his stomach and I immediately went to the nursing room, there I saw that no nurse was at the counter and I heard someone speaking in the room inside, first I called from outside, when no one heard, then I went inside and a fat nurse sitting there scolded me and said what is the need to come here, this area is not for outsiders, then I said that you should be at the counter for your duty, now if you people are not here then I will have to come inside. Then we had a long argument and one or two staff members also came and they were also blaming me even though it was not my fault. According to the law, the nurse should be at the counter and to satisfy themselves, they did not accept their mistake and were asking me how did you come into this room. My brother's health was suddenly deteriorating, so I had to come inside because if those people are not available for duty at the counter, then we will have to go inside because anything can happen in an emergency. I did not think it right to argue with them because my brother's health was deteriorating and it was an important thing to fix it, so I told a staff member to please send a nurse, my brother is having pain in his stomach and after about 5 minutes, an injection was given to my brother in some other vein, only then my brother got some relief.

I wanted to complain against that nurse to the hospital committee but then I thought that all this would waste a lot of time, no one would be ready to accept their mistake and the hospital administration would also not go against its staff, so we did not think much and did not take any action.

Those people were much more powerful than us and the good thing is that the employees of the government department have a lot of attitude and the people there do not accept their mistake to any extent. I don't know what kind of rule is this that even if we file a complaint against the employees of the government department, no action is taken on it and the complaint just remains unresolved and nothing else.

The way complaints remain pending makes these employees more powerful because they know that no matter what we do, any complaint against us will just remain unresolved and buried in files. It happens very rarely that any action is taken against the mistake of any government employee and he is suspended from the job. I just want that all the citizens living in the country should get equal rights because here rules are made only for the poor and the person who is powerful only has to break the rules.
