Some Updation On Social Media Policies Needed
Hello to all hive users π€β€οΈπ
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your lifeπ
The trend of social media is very high in today's time and today almost the majority of the world's population uses social media and uses it in many ways. Some people use social media for their entertainment, while many people see social media as their employment and use it in the same way. There are two types of people in social media, one is those who use social media for normal entertainment, while the other people are social media influencers. Social media influencers are very popular nowadays and most of the social media influencers are earning a lot of money. Now if we talk about their content, then the content of many people is genuine and it comes very rarely to the public and the public gets a lot of help from the information given by them. On the other hand, there are many such influencers who post wrong type of news and sometimes a video of a product without complete information and later their video creates a lot of ruckus and sometimes this video is also fake. One thing I have noticed about social media influencers is that they can go to any extent to make themselves popular and most of them use good content but many of them adopt shortcut methods to gain popularity which may sometimes be harmful for their followers.

Monetization is a good option for those who cannot show their talent on a big level but can get a good reach on social media and it can be a source of income for them. I have seen many such people on social media who were very poor at one time but on the basis of their talent they became so popular on social media that they are earning a lot of money there and living a good life. Social media is such a thing on which people have started trusting very easily nowadays and people do not delay in breaking the trust of their followers. Being popular does not mean that people show fake news or information about the wrong product.
To control these things, first of all there is a need to change the policy of social media. The first change that can happen here is that if a social media influencer is giving information about a product, then he will have to give some proof in his video which can prove that the product is really a genuine product according to its reviews. In this, the social media influencer will have to take care that he does not spread any kind of news which is fake. Many influencers create controversy by spreading fake news so that they get more views and more views will earn good money but they do not take care of how much negative impact such things will have.
There is a need to improve many such policies and bring some new provisions so that this type of discrepancy can be controlled. For this, the government and social media companies will have to work together, only then this thing can change and the social media experience can be better.
