Promise Broked By Someone

Many times we make promises to someone and we make those promises because we have some special attachment with that person, so we make promises and there are many people who take their promises very seriously and no matter what happens, they do not go back on their promise. I had read somewhere that the person who stays true to his words should be trusted and I always agree with this because this is the identity of a true man. If I have to deal with someone, then I would always like to work with the person who stays true to his words and not the person who changes his words according to the situation and keeps changing his decisions. I have seen many people who say something to you and then say something else to another person, similarly they keep changing their opinion according to different people. This is absolutely wrong. If I tell you about my life, then till date it has never happened with me that I have broken a promise given to anyone because I only make promises which I am sure that I will be able to keep, otherwise there is no use of a promise which I may not be able to keep properly. I have always valued relationships a lot and that is why I don't make false promises because whatever thing I don't like, I also explain it to the other person so that it never happens to him/her and I try to never lie in my relationships.

If we talk about the opposite of this that did anyone break the promise given to me, then I would say that yes, a lot of people have done this. This incident would have happened about 10 years ago and at that time I got admission in a college because it was very far from my city and there was no hostel facility in the college, so I thought of getting a room. When I was getting admission there, a boy came who lived at a little distance from our city and he also wanted a room there. Next day I had to go to college again, so he said that I will find a room in the local area this evening and if I get it, I will tell you by tomorrow because tomorrow we both had to meet again in the college. Next day when I came to the college, he told me that the room has been found and it was also near the college, so I was happy that the biggest problem is over because it is very difficult to find a room. We had come to that college just to get admission but our classes were going to start after a month. We used to talk on mobile and when the classes were about to start, I felt unwell and started resting at home because the doctor had asked me to rest. After that I told her that I will come after a few days because I am not feeling well. She promised to share the room with me.

I was a little late in starting my college classes, so on the day before I was supposed to attend college, I went to see that the boy had kept another roommate and I felt very bad about that because he had promised me and now he had kept another roommate. That day I had a lot of trouble finding a room and for about 2 days I had to stay at a relative's place which was very far from the city and it took me about 1.5 hours to go and come back which was too much. The boy did this because he thought that I was making false excuses of illness or I did not want to join college but his thinking was very wrong and he might have done this on someone's advice, I don't know.
