My Struggle With Learning to Swim
Hello to all hive users π€β€οΈπ
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your lifeπ
We do a variety of things in our lives, and many of these things we learn gradually. Swimming is one of those things that many people enjoy, but learning to swim in water is a bit difficult because the biggest problem is fear. Many people are afraid of water, and we often hear news reports of people dying due to drowning. Well, this is true, as many people want to swim, but fear prevents them from entering the water. If they ever have to enter the water in the future, they could drown because they don't know how to properly swim. Speaking for myself, I don't know how to swim, for many reasons.

The first reason is that the area where I live is a mountainous area, and the rivers here are quite deep. The biggest problem with these rivers is that they can change currents at any time. Sometimes, when the current becomes too strong, it can sweep away everything. Swimming in rivers is not advisable at all. In our area, people drown every year, and anyone who hears about this news is constantly afraid of drowning. Parents are even more worried about this because they know that in their youth, children travel and explore new things. Sometimes, they get carried away by someone's advice and start swimming, which can lead to serious accidents. When I was a child, there were no swimming pools nearby in our area, which were shallow enough for people to learn to swim. Nowadays I see that there are schools where Teriyaki classes are also conducted where children have to learn to swim in water and then after they learn to swim properly, those children can swim anywhere and if any such incident happens with them in which they have to drown in water, then they can save themselves from there. It is said that swimming is also a skill which people should know because many times in life any kind of emergency can arise, so in such a situation, if you face such an emergency in which you have to swim in water, then this thing can become a little negative for you if you do not know how to swim.
Secondly, there aren't any swimming training schools near our home or in our town. If there were such a school, many people wouldn't be afraid to swim and could easily swim in difficult situations. There's a large river nearby, where many people go swimming, but my family doesn't send me there because there's always the fear of drowning, and there's no safety gear available. In a way, swimming there is also a disgusting experience, as such incidents occur every year, with people drowning. It's not safe to swim there, and for someone who doesn't know how to swim well, it can be fatal. The river is quite deep, and the current can sometimes be very strong, which can sweep you away. This danger prevents many people from swimming.
