How I Manage My Income

Hello to all hive users πŸ€—β€οΈπŸ™
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your lifeπŸ™‚

To make a living, we need many skills. If you have an additional skill, it can be a major advantage. There's one skill that people often overlook, but it's crucial for our lives: the skill of managing our income. Only a few people in the world who earn money know how to manage their income effectively. Wealthy individuals or large companies that need to manage their finances hire highly educated and skilled people for this purpose. Managing money means using it wisely. When your salary is credited to your account on the first of the month, you see the money, and many people immediately start spending it – on good food, nice clothes, or fulfilling their hobbies. But have you ever considered whether the things you're spending money on are truly necessary? Could you be using that money in a way that would give you a better return?

To manage your money effectively, you first need to keep track of all your finances. This involves understanding your income sources and all your expenses. Start by noting down your essential expenses, such as food, rent, bills, transportation, and other things crucial for your daily life. Next, account for occasional expenses, such as those related to family functions, festivals, or travel. You should have a rough estimate of these expenses as well. Finally, note down any unnecessary or frivolous expenses that you might incur from time to time.

Now, what you need to do is look at the figures showing your income and expenses for the entire year, and based on that, determine how much money you are able to save each year. It's also very important to know where that saved money is being invested. Investing in different places has different advantages, and generally, where you get higher returns, the risk is also higher. Therefore, investing requires a specific skill set, and you should have knowledge about it.

Another important point is that we need to pay more attention to unnecessary and illogical expenses. For example, if you buy something that you don't need or that just sits around unused, then that's a kind of loss because that money could have been used elsewhere. Therefore, before buying anything, think twice: do you really need it, or are you buying it because someone influenced you or because you saw others buying it? If you cut down on these unnecessary expenses, you can save a significant amount of money. This amount might seem small now, but just look at your expenses from last year that were unnecessary and are now useless, and you'll understand how important this is.

Noting done necessary things is one thing that has helped me, immediately the money comes in am always tempted to buy beautiful clothes, but because I already have in mind what the money is for and how it should be spent I will control myself.
