Homework Isn't Necessary

I feel that children should be given enough practice in school so that they do not need to be given homework. If children have the load of homework, they will not be able to give time to their extracurricular activities, due to which their focus will be only on studies and they will not be able to get information about any other field and they will have only the option of their syllabus. Children should be aware of all kinds of things like sports, music, dance are curricular activities which are also a better career option in today's time. If we talk about some time back, there we used to see that there used to be a very heavy load of studies on children in schools and the syllabus used to be so top that children could not even think about anything else and children had only two options, either leave studies there and do some other work or study with hard work, it was not as much as it is today. According to me, how can the knowledge of children be strengthened and attention should be paid to those things which can explain things to children more easily.

Mental homework is also important, but it is not necessary to give so much homework that the child remains busy with homework till late night after coming back from school. And the thing is that children are busy with homework but along with them their parents also become more busy and their life also becomes full of stress. Especially if we look at small children, then a lot of time has to be spent with them, the parents even forget their personal life. After all, what is the use of such education that parents have to work so hard again. It is accepted that this thing is also important but giving too much load is also not right because children face problems but their parents also face more problems. Homework should be given according to a limit and more focus should be given on how to improve the quality of education so that children understand things in a better way and attention should be given towards making them creative and innovative.

This strictness is necessary till some classes but once the children start to handle themselves a little and start understanding the difference between good and bad, then a little light behaviour will be fine. As far as homework is concerned, one should try to reduce its burden. After going to a certain class, children themselves start understanding that they have to study and they have to pass with good marks and those children start studying on their own without anyone telling them and try to become a better student.

If children are given a limited syllabus according to their needs, I think that by doing this we can reduce the burden of studies on them. Right now a lot of change is needed in the field of education because there are many education systems which are running in a very old way. There is a great need for change in this.
