A personal motto that changed my thinking and life

We are born into this world, and then our thinking develops. Gradually, we learn about many things. As we explore the world, we learn about new things, and then we discover a purpose for our lives. A purpose is essential because it gives our lives direction. If you live a directionless life, you won't enjoy it. Without a purpose, your life will be quite boring. A purpose is crucial for giving direction to life. I say this because if you talk to 10 people, at least two of them will say they have no purpose in life. Just as everyone has a purpose in life, I too have many purposes. The first purpose is that I love discipline. If you have discipline in your life, you'll know the many benefits it brings.

If a person has talent but does not have discipline then that talent is of no use because discipline is very important to maintain the talent.
If a person has a talent and is aware of it, yet doesn't consistently pursue it, then even immense talent won't bring them success, because it's not just talent that matters, but practice as well. Many of the artists you see today have reached their peaks through hard work. Some have excellent voices, but they aren't given much work, instead being pushed into other fields. This is why, despite being talented, people often end up working in fields they aren't even interested in. Discipline can also be understood with a simple example. You may have noticed that when a student enters college, they have to work very hard, and that hard work can only be achieved if they are disciplined. Some people have to work hard for three years, some for four years, and some for even more. Only then will they find a good job one day, and that day they realize the value of their hard work, realizing that if they hadn't continued to work, they might not have a job today. This demonstrates the importance of discipline.

The second thing is consistency. Continuity is crucial in life, and whatever goal you're working towards, it's crucial to be consistent in that area. Imagine yourself preparing for an exam and creating a timetable that says you'll only be able to crack it if you study for approximately six hours daily, and you have a proper schedule for that six hours. When you start preparing, you may study diligently for a few days, but then your mind wanders. This means you've become disconnected from your goal, which can take you far away from your goal. Continuity means studying for four hours instead of six, but you have to devote time to each task daily. Only when you dedicate time to each task will you be able to achieve your goal. Achieving your goal is in your hands if you continue to work hard.

The last and most important thing is patience. Nowadays, people are accustomed to instant results and want everything they want instantly. This thinking is completely wrong, because anything that brings about significant change will take time. Therefore, patience is crucial. If you don't have patience, your mind will inevitably wander and you'll be drawn to easier things. You may get that easy thing immediately, but it won't last long. It's crucial to have patience for the things that bring about significant change in your life. If you work with discipline and maintain consistency, you can achieve your life goals and achieve anything you desire with just these three things.
