What A Week!

I can feel my head slightly spinning while writing this. My week started with me traveling to Kumasi to look after Gladys. I’m sure you all know who Gladys is, but for those who don’t know, she’s the closest thing I have to a biological sister. We’ve been friends for 19 years, and I believe she’s more than a friend.

I had the call on Monday, and I had to put everything on hold. To be honest, I didn’t even know if it was serious or not but the thing with Gladys is that she is never not well. And I don’t remember the last time she even complained of a headache, so when she told me she wasn’t well, I just knew I had to be there.

It turned out it was really serious and it was good I even came to her. Her condition had something to do with her heart, so we made a lot of trips to the cardiologist, and she was also given a lot of medication. A lot. I’ve never seen one person take so many tablets like this.

Anyway, so while all this was happening, Telecel just decided to be Telecel. I don’t even know why I bother myself about this network when there are others. Telecel decided to just not work. From Monday to Wednesday. (Actually I think it’s even from Sunday). But yeah, it’s been so hard to do anything online or internet-related.

So Gladys got better, and then we decided to go out and have fun. As if the universe was waiting to sink my shoulders in defeat, I got a call from my mom about something that shook me. So my elder brother had an accident, and according to how she explained it, she doesn’t even know how he survived.

From what she said, the car is actually in really bad condition, and when they compare the condition of the car to the fact that my brother doesn’t even have a scratch on his body, it’s a miracle.

You know what caused the accident? A pothole. He fell into a pothole, and then his tire burst. I don’t even want to get into the details because it’s terrifying. I’m just grateful to God for his life. Sometimes I feel like we are not angry enough in this country to be on our leaders to use the nation’s funds for the right thing, but then again, anger can’t do anything, so let’s forget about that.

After getting that call, we couldn’t even do anything that day, but then today, I just thought of how fragile life is. Today you are here; tomorrow you are not. So why not do all the things that make us happy and live? We went out and I even vlogged it but the excitement was a little low because of what had happened. This has been the roughest week ever since the beginning of the year and coincidentally, it also taught me the same thing I've been learning over and over again: live while you can.

Wow...that's a whole lot of experience you know

Thank God your friend feels better today. It's nice you went to be with her...that's thoughtful
And for your brother ..God is faithful 🙌

Why not change the network or have double sim? I don't like cutting off the Internet for days because of a network provider I can change ..lol

What a week indeed ..I pray next week will be nice and kind to you dear

Compliment of the season 🎊🥳
