My Dad’s Special Bullet Saved For My Boyfriend

Yes, I know you’re wondering what’s the bullet doing in my title. I’ll tell you. I’m actually very close to my dad so when I saw this topic, I just said “oh let me use this opportunity to ask my dad about it”. Ladies and Gentlemen, not knowing all this while my dad has been saving a special bullet for my future boyfriend.It’s also my first time of hearing this.
According to my dad,he wasn’t one of the dads that wanted to give birth to only boys just because of what he did in his youth.

His first child was a boy,the second was also a boy and that’s when it dawned on him he had to have a girl if not he’ll be lonely when my brothers start being best friends with my mom. Fortunately for him, right on their first try, the Angel they had been looking for came; that’s me. Don’t laugh, am I not a sweet Angel? Anyway, my dad said his joy knew no bounds when they had me because even at that time, my brothers had already snatched his wife away from him.

Since I was born till now, my dad has been my paddy paddy. He goes everywhere with me. He prefers doing everything for me so far as he’s capable. I remember one of my male friends dropping me at home oneday and he told him he was going to arrest him because he doesnt remember me telling him someone was going to drop me home so that’s an offense.

My dad’s line of work allows him to have a gun and it’s mostly never loaded(for safety reasons) but today, he showed me a particular gun and a bullet that he got personally for me. “Me?” I asked(since when did I become a criminal). Yes, he said it was for me.It was for the boy I will bring home. If you don’t know and you go and bring any rascal here….I laughed. My cousin actually died out of the pain she went though in her marriage so it has made all the dads in my extended family alert.

He said he knows what men can do and thankfully he has experienced that lifestyle in the name of “enjoying his youth”. He actually told me a lot about the things he did in his youthful stage and even though it wasn’t so bad he thinks people do worse these days.
Also, he said this particular generation do not understand words, only action. They probably think you’re a joke the moment you talk so much and explain how precious your daughter is to you.

Therefore, that particular gun and bullet will always be available. From when I introduce my boyfriend to when I get married. By that time, he would have known the man enough to trust him a little to take good care of me.
Someone should tell my future boyfriend there’s a special bullet saved for when he messes up.
