What I expect from autumn - LOH Contest week #256 / Lo que espero del otoño - Concurso LOH semana #256 (eng-esp)

Oh, dear @elizabethbit, I have many things to look forward to this fall, and I'll see if I can answer them in this post and participate in this week's LOH contest #256.

Among the things I'm looking forward to this fall is the new edition of the "Berenice" horror literature contest, organized by the Alta Literatura group, to which I belong along with another group of writers.

This is the only horror literature contest in my country, and this year we're doing something that hasn't been done before in Cuba: we're bringing the contest to #Hive. And here I am giving the scoop.
The usual email-based contest is only for residents of my country, and with the Hive short story option, we'll be able to make it international, with payments in HBD and HSBI.
I'm very excited. We launch the contest every year on Halloween.

Although it may seem implausible, another thing I look forward to about fall is Halloween. I'm not a child, nor will I go from house to house asking for candy. I look forward to this time of year to see the costumes, go out to cafes decorated with festive themes, and so on.
For many years, this holiday was prohibited in my country, so the culture that is so normal didn't exist anywhere else in the world. Now, it's becoming common here in Cuba, and I really enjoy it. People are very happy around this time of year. Everyone smiles on the streets.

The changing color of the leaves on the trees is something I will always look forward to. Unfortunately, in my country, that doesn't exist. The trees don't shed their leaves or change color. I would like to see it someday. However, there is something else I always look forward to during this autumn season: the low temperatures.
It's always warm in Cuba. But in the fall, temperatures begin to drop, and that's something I'm very happy about.
Starting in the fall, I'll be able to wear shirts and walk down the street without sweating. Without the discomfort of the burning sun on my skin.

I think everyone in the Caribbean and Central America is eagerly awaiting the drop in temperatures, or at least the end of summer.
In fact, for those who don't like the cold, the fall temperatures are ideal. They're very cool. Perfect.

Oh, querida @elizabethbit, del otoño espero muchas cosas y veré si puedo responderlas en esta publicación y así participar en el concurso de LOH de esta semana #256.

Entre lo que espero con ansias para el otoño de este año, se encuentra la nueva edición del concurso de literatura de terror “Berenice”, que convoca el grupo Alta Literatura, al que pertenezco junto a otro grupo de escritores.

Este es el único concurso de literatura de terror en mi país y este año haremos algo que tampoco se ha hecho antes en Cuba: traeremos el concurso a #Hive. Y aquí estoy dando la primicia.
El concurso habitual, por correo electrónico es solo para residentes en mi país, y con la modalidad de cuentos en Hive, lo podremos hacer internacional, con pagos en HBD y HSBI.
Estoy muy emocionado. El concurso lo lanzamos todos los años en Halloween.

Aunque parezca algo inverosímil, otra cosa que espero del otoño es Halloween. No soy un niño, ni iré de casa en casa pidiendo dulces. Espero esta fecha para ver los disfraces, salir a cafeterías adornadas con temáticas festivas y demás.
Durante muchos años esta fecha fue prohibida en mi país, por lo que no existía esa cultura tan normal en cualquier parte del mundo. Ahora es que se está haciendo habitual aquí en Cuba y yo la disfruto mucho. Las personas son muy felices por esas fechas. Todo el mundo sonríe en las calles.

El cambio de color de las hojas de los árboles es algo que siempre esperaré. Lamentablemente en mi país eso no existe. No se deshojan ni cambian de color los árboles. Me gustaría verlo algún día. Sin embargo, hay otra cosa que siempre espero para esta época otoñal: las bajas temperaturas.
En Cuba siempre hay calor. Pero en otoño comienzan a bajar las temperaturas y eso es algo que me alegra mucho.
A partir de otoño podré ponerme camisas y caminar por la calle sin sudar. Sin la incomodidad del sol ardiente en mi piel.

Creo que todos los habitantes del Caribe y Centroamérica esperan con ansias el descenso de las temperaturas o el fin del verano, al menos.
De hecho, a los que tampoco les gusta el frío, las temperaturas del otoño son las ideales. Son muy frescas. Ideales.
Bueno, creo que esto es lo principal que espero para estas fechas. Espero que les haya resultado interesante.
