Celebrando con Parranda

Hello, beer friends!

Today was a true #beersaturday at home, as my stepfather turns 78, and what he ordered to celebrate was #Parrandabeer.

I understand why he likes it so much. First of all, the size: a liter and a half of good beer! It's priceless.

On the other hand, its description lives up to what you're drinking. It's a golden, smooth beer, but with a good alcohol content.

Parranda is a beer that, unless you say it's made in Cuba, doesn't seem Cuban.
And the old man loves it.

Of course, a liter and a half isn't enough. So, how about 3.5 liters?
The only downside? The bottle is plastic. Yes, rPET plastic, supposedly environmentally friendly, but at the end of the day, it's plastic.

But what matters isn't so much the packaging as the contents. And we do enjoy the contents to the fullest.

I think it was the gift he enjoyed the most. And, at least, the one I enjoyed the most.
Parranda beer, not the best in the country, but in those quantities, believe me, it's worth it.

Hola, amigos de la Cerveza!

Hoy fue un verdadero #beersaturday en la casa, pues mi padrastro cumple 78 años y lo que pidió para celebrar fue #cerveza Parranda.

Entiendo la razón del porqué le gusta tanto. Lo primero es el tamaño: ¡Litro y medio de buena cerveza! No tiene desperdicio.

Por otro lado, su descripción hace honor a lo que bebes. Es una cerveza dorada, suave, pero con buen porcentaje de alcohol.

Parranda es una cerveza que, de no decir que está hecha en Cuba, no parece cubana.
Y al viejo le encanta.

Por supuesto, con litro y medio no alcanza. Entonces, ¿qué tal 3.5 litros?
¿La única pega? La botella es de plástico. Sí, plástico rPET, supuestamente amigable con el ambiente, pero al fin y al cabo, es plástico.

Pero, lo que importa no es tanto el envase como el contenido. Y el contenido sí lo disfrutamos al máximo.

Creo que fue el regalo que más disfrutó. Y, por lo menos, el que más disfruté yo.
Cerveza Parranda, no la mejor del país, pero en esas cantidades, créanme que vale la pena.
