World War III

I have never witnessed a war before, and I actually don't pray for one. I have watched it happen between different nations. One thing about war is that it only happens between humans. You can never see some animals in one part of the world waging war against other animals. Only humans are capable of this, and it’s been this way since time immemorial.

I have watched it happen in the Stone Age era, especially watching Korean historical dramas so one can have a clearer picture of what war is all about. This is not because of anything but just part of human nature to want more. Our interest and greed most times are the major cause of war. In those movies, I have learned that war erupts when one part wants to overpower or overthrow the others. They needed the highest power to rule over many others below them.

So it became a reason why each country or continent had to build a security system to prevent them from external attacks. Gone were days when castles and barricades were used as defense against attacks and where swords, spears, and axes, were used as weapons for waging war on battlefields.

The world keeps advancing and so does it affect the military systems. The use of guns, bombs, teargas, and explosives, became a tool and weapon for fighting against each other. So any country or continent lacking these weapons will be considered less powered. But those with weapon systems that are so powerful will also have to wage war for power.

I wasn't a witness to World War II, but we have history telling us what and how it has happened. No one wants history to repeat itself.

I was in a vehicle with a driver a few months ago, and our discussion channeled towards the bomb blast that happened in the country years back. I was still little then, but I can say that I also felt the vibration and the shock everyone got into at that time. The fear and agony that befell everyone in the country back then. Anyone who experienced that will never wish for war to happen.

But now, history is about to repeat itself. Lately, we have been hearing a lot of ongoing news updates about the current situation in the world and the disagreement between countries with world power. The threat from different countries trying to test their weapons against each other.

There have been some attacks, but at some point, it seems the world also wants peace. Some countries wouldn’t feel the effect that much, especially those with higher military powers and defense systems, but countries that don't have any power will feel it the most.

The ceasefire was announced lately and we are hopeful that peace will be restored in the world. Any form of war won’t be fair at all, especially in this age where amortanks, and missile bombs, are the weapons for warfare.
