Passion + Consistency = Success

It is easier said than done. To cook a vegetable soup, the fastest way is to think about how you will get the vegetables in your mind, then maybe tell a friend or someone beside you about it.

It's easy to say, I will go to the market, buy vegetables, buy curry, maggi, and locusts, then when I get home, I will refill the gas, wash the plates, and prepare the soup too. That's so easy. The real problem is when it comes to taking action, that's when you see them ranting, sweating, and almost regretting their actions.

It's so easy to dive into a business, easy to make plans in your head, easy to dream big. But making them come to reality is where the big deal is. If you are not taking the step, then I can say you are just dwelling in an illusion.

I have had the mindset of owning a farm, running several livestock farms, and then swimming in wealth. Until I got into the university, I had never gotten those dreams out of my mind, and that's really good. I knew the reality wouldn’t be something easy because I am beginning to see life more, and I never got the wealthy background that would aid my dreams. So I am a bit prepared for the journey.

It will be hard, I have seen several friends of mine get in and rush out of the business, many complain about how tiresome it is, discouragement from all angles, and I even have to rethink again and almost give up even before starting.

But what will happen will surely happen. I was just passionate about farming, I felt the connection, I knew I had a link with it, but is it truly my path?! I was just hopeful the journey ahead would be an easy one. Trained myself to remain consistent in whatever I do, whichever aspect, I tried to bring out the best from it. Maybe I should call it pseudo-passion plus real consistency.

After school, I got into the real world of employment, or the labour market as they called it. Since then, I have groomed myself well for the journey ahead. I knew the best way to avoid heavy mistakes was to learn from experience. That way, it’s not that I won't make mistakes, but at a minimum.

I trained before entering the business, learnt the good and bad sides of it, the challenges and fun of it. Then I dived into it.

My first experience almost sent me back to where I came from. There are times when this business starts to mess with my brain and my mental stability. I will try as much to keep myself under control because, in the real sense, no one actually sent me. I failed back-to-back, and even encouragement wasn’t enough to keep me going.

With all that, I just tried as much to make sure I practiced consistency!

After failing and getting back up several times, I will try to give myself some rest, cut short from the pit I fell into for the first time, and then kick start again with a powerful mindset. I can say my passion for the business sustained me, and my consistency kept me on track.

Today, I am not where I was when I started. It's rough and hard, I won't lie. Success is not easy. But it only remains with those who seek it. If achieving success were to be easy, then the world would be filled with successful people. I still have a long journey ahead of me, a bigger picture, amazing dreams, and visions ahead. Same way, I am prepared for the huge challenges ahead. I pray God will help me.

It's good to know you persisted even when things were tough and the growth is an evidence. Giving up isn't an option as long as there's life

Failure doesn't define the real us but success does. Farming is good occupation and it's good that you achieve your goals

The reason why most people fail in business is because for a start there might be a heavy loss after all u invested in it, but u are not supposed to give up after that failure rather u are supposed to be motivated because u should get to understand that in business there is always a loss there are times u get to fail and pick urself up but most people don't understand this.

Being an entrepreneur requires a whole lot of consistency and a great thoughts of accepting challenges. Being successful is all we crave for but can we all face failures? May our labours never go to waste. We shall get to the top.

Really i love your title first 😍
You just explained it well.
Losing doesn't mean it's all over. If someone does only the things they do with their concentration and dedication, then at the end of the day they will have the last laugh.
