My fantasy means of transportation…

I have loved traveling since I was a kid. I always derive fun sitting next to the window side in Dad’s car and exploring as we journey. The lovely aspect is when I see strange things and I am always like wow! Dad, what is this?? Mum, what is this?? And they explained it to me. So from that, don't you think traveling is knowledge-oriented?

I remember a time when we were traveling to our hometown. It wasn’t our first time going but Dad took another route from the one we were used to. While traveling I saw a statue and was like, Mum who are these people? Why can't they move? Is this how they are created? Mum told me they are statues and are not living humans. But they were molded by humans. I fantasized about that and wished to touch one for real.

We got to a large water body and I was so surprised to see it for the first time. That was my first time seeing how fast a speed boat could accelerate and how slow a canoe could move. Traveling is just so fun. I don't mind having the rest of my life traveling from one place to another exploring the universe.

Of all the means of transportation we have, the only one I traveled on is by vehicle and by rail. Traveling on a vehicle was so common and not so challenging, I remember traveling days nonstop on a bus before. It was fun but you can't see much if you are not by the window side. So I love to take the seat next to the driver, despite the risks involved. I love that sit. From that angle, I can see all I want.

By rail, I never thought of traveling by rail ever in my life. The only thing I saw was the railway. I would wonder how the train would even move on that railway. And the assumption of how long and loaded a train could be. I wished someday I could experience it.

Traveling by railway was said to be so slow. But you can only tell the truth from the lie when you experience it yourself. I traveled by railway when I went for my entrance exam. It was so stressful getting tickets and all sorts compared to traveling easily by car or bus. But I wanted a new fantasy and new experience since traveling by rail was quite affordable for me then.

I was fortunate to get on the train and by the window seat. Ooh wow! The train kicked off, started slowly, and then gradually got its speed and balance. I was surprised to see the train moving so fast on its rail. I could hardly visualize the surroundings. The speed was much.

One fun fact about it was that there was no competition on its track. It was just moving and the next time it would stop was the next station ahead. I had a nice time traveling by railway.

My fantasy means of transportation are left to traveling by air and by water. Though I have been canoeing recently, that's not enough to satisfy the fantasy in me. I want to travel by ship. It is said that life on a ship is another world entirely.

Though these two means of transport are not on land. And that's more of a reason why it remained scary to me and also costly to travel on. Traveling by air is said to be the fastest means of transportation. No argument for that, but I want to be on a plane someday by the window seat, get my earbuds in my ears, and see through the world. I hope someday all of my aspirations come to pass.
