Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Humanity

We live in a world that advances with time. In the blink of an eye, you realize that what you were used to yesterday is not what’s currently happening in the world the next day. So, proper attention has to be paid to updates.

My brother bought a Tecno device a few years ago. It was actually the hottest and latest device at the time. He really enjoyed all its features and promised he wouldn’t upgrade the phone until the next release was out.

He had to update the version and then after the update he actually regretted his decision. All of the features he enjoyed were no more and he couldn’t even enjoy the features until he moved on to the next device with better features.

Nowadays we even have devices that come with AI features on them. Mobile applications also have them installed with their programs. So this is just a way to broadcast the use of AI across everyone. Even though it might just be the basics of it. But it still gives room to those who are interested in using it.

From there, those who appreciate the use of it will further into higher levels and updates, then those who are not interested can just back off from it.

I was caught in a discussion with some of my friends recently, the discussion was channeled towards the use of AI and how it has helped them in their different fields of work. One of them told me about how he drafts all of his sheets and makes reports with the aid of AI. He said all he has to do is to just input the command in the right form and then he gets his result.

But one thing he does is that he just uses it for ideas and not leaving it to do the actual work. He will have to work on the results and make it appear that a human did it and not just a bot. So there is no way we can compare the result of AI to that of humans. The difference is always there.

I wasn’t able to contribute to the conversation that much because on my end I don't even think I used the AI feature since it came into existence. It's not that I don't know about it. But my field doesn’t require the use of it. I got to learn more about it, and the advantages and disadvantages of it through the conversation.

So just because I don't have a use case for AI doesn’t mean it's not good to use for anyone. Just like our devices, to some, it's an important gadget that they use in the right way, while to some it's a tool they use in the wrong direction. That doesn’t mean all phones are bad for use. It's just left to what the owner does with it.
