Award winning most useless apps.

Despite the fact that we have to keep using our phones day in and day out. To some people their phones have been a part of their daily lives, some have their phones as their best friends. There are times when I would feel something missing on me and that’s whenever I have my hands empty while walking. I am used to having my mobile on my hands everywhere i go.

Having my phone as one of the most used gadgets doesn’t mean everything on my phone is that useful. There are some apps that it's been a long time since I opened them and there are some apps I open occasionally, while some apps are just so important that they are the ones that make the phone so much important to me.

If those important apps are away from my phone, then I would say my phone is as good as dead. 😂. Even if I have enough data subscriptions on my phone in the absence of those apps then it’s useless.

I will be sharing some of these apps today. And I am sure it might also be among one of those apps you find useless too. 😂. Though one man’s food is surely another man’s poison. So an app being useless on my phone doesn’t mean it wont have value in someone’s else’s phone.

Voice Memos.

I can't remember the last time I used the voice memo app on my phone. It's there to record voices. But i don't think i have clicked it on my phone for the past months. To some others it might be their most frequent, for example someone that's into music might find it so useful to them. But to me it’s so useless.

Compass

This app is most of the time found on iphones. Its an inbuilt app. If not, I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago. The last time I remembered i used the app was when i was having my project work in 2021. Since then i never thought i opened the app on my phone ever since then. It has been so useless on my device for a very long time.

Measure App.

This app os also useless. It's used to take measures from one angle to another. Then it gives the appropriate length in centimetres. It also has the plume feature in it so you can use it to level surfaces. But I see both as useless for me.

Calendar and clock

These two apps are quite useless and also useful. The reason being that they are used occasionally on my phone and not as frequent as other important apps. On my lock screen display I have the date displayed. So when i open the calendar app is when i want to check back to past dates.

As for the clock or alarm. It has to be used, but once I set an alarm I am not opening the app again for a long time except for when I want to stop the alarm or when I want to change it.
