36 Hours A Day ⏰.

Every day is another for us. We get ourselves involved in some daily routine, a cycle we have to fulfill each day. We have our to-do list, make plans, and try to live our lives as modestly as possible. That was one of the best ways we could live as humans.

But yet there are some days that we don't get enough of the time we need to get things done. And just in the blink of an eye time had run out, we’ve already exhausted 24 hours and the day is already over.

Sometime last week I was called to join my boss at work, it was actually an impromptu decision I made because I wasn’t informed beforehand. All my plans for that day were put on hold just to attend this job.

When we got there, I was just so annoyed because it was like I got stuck doing nothing when I had a bunch of other things to attend to. I spent about 3 hours doing nothing, then later he showed up with those I had to work with. I am grateful my time loss wasn’t that much.

Work started and I just couldn’t believe my eyes when I checked the time. It's evening time and we are still not done with the work. I was so tired already, and by the time I got home it was already late I got home and started all I had left undone. Before I could say it, it was already midnight and I couldn't sleep yet.

That day I only slept an hour and woke up for work again the next day. Some days are just as hectic as that, most times like that and those days the timing will just feel like they are not enough. Some days will happen to be extremely spacious that we feel the time is so sluggish or it has been paused for some moment.

Additional 12 Hours

What if I were given the chance to add 12 more hours to my days? How much will I utilize it?

The answer is just so simple. I will first deduct 8 hours for proper sleep time. These days I am getting so deprived of my sleep time. Some nights when I will just remain sleepless and have my eyes wide open hustling for a better life. For the past two days now I can say all of my sleep time is not up to 10 hours.

There are times when it gives me a headache and doesn’t even allow me to do the necessary things with my right mind. Sleep is natural, and most of the time can’t be cheated. If you try to skip those times you should have a proper sleep time then you will still have to pay back for it.

Having proper time to sleep will surely impact my work life positively because I will have the time to concentrate on other things knowing fully that when I am done with everything, I can have my brain settled and relaxed.
