My YouTube Regrets// Daily Vlogging Challenge [Day 4]
This video is about my regrets—things I regret doing when I started YouTube.
I started back in 2016, before I was aware of these sites.
I wanted to be a gaming channel, I didn't have a good computer to play the latest games, and I didn't have a PS4 (when it was relevant at the time)
The laptop my folks bought me barely ran Roblox.
I wish I had chosen a niche where I could put out the best content. If I'd done that, I could have grown my channel, gotten it monetized, and then started a gaming channel. I struggled to get my folks to understand how autism is a barrier to employment. That would've been relatable. I went through a program that didn't help me. That's relatable. Lots of disabled folks struggle in a society hostile to people who can't "contribute to society." I had other ideas that folks would've related to.
I could've curbed some of the harassment/hostility I received on these sites if I said your votes tell me your stance on the game, and allows me to get a better microphone for better audio, etc.
