Es de esperar que esta estadística se mantenga en la tercera jornada, fecha en la que algunas selecciones se jugarán su pase a la siguiente fase. Prácticamente será una final para ellos.

CROACIA vs. ITALIA

CROACIA empezó el torneo con derrota y aunque deseaba encontrar la victoria en la siguiente fecha, no lo logró, sino que negoció un empate frente a Albania. Por eso, se juega la clasificación en ésta última oportunidad, y nada menos que frente al actual defensor del título. No se puede negar de que han buscado la victoria en éste último encuentro, haciendo que sus números lo reflejen. Es el segundo equipos que más disparos ha realizado, pero lamentablemente es la segunda seleccion que más goles ha permitido, igualado con Hungría y Polonia. Es verdad, manejan muy bien el balón cuando lo tienen, gracias a su mediocampo conformado por Modric y Kovacic, principalmente. Sin embargo, deberán traducir esa posesión en más ocasiones de peligro.

ITALIA fue vencida por parte de España por la mínima diferencia, logrando estacionarse en la segunda posición, con tres puntos. Los dirigidos por Spalletti no quedaron contentos al final de ese cotejo y se han mostrado positivos frente a los micrófonos de ajustar todo lo necesario para mejorar la situación en el resto del torneo. Hace doce años que estos dos se enfrentaron en Eurocopa, quedando en empate gracias a los goles de legendarios apellidos como Pirlo y Mandzukic.

UCRANIA vs. BÉLGICA

UCRANIA sufrió una de las derrotas más abultadas del campeonato apenas en la primera fecha. Y luego, frente a Eslovaquia sí pudo ganar en un partido muy difícil. Ahora, se juega la vida en un abierto grupo E. Fue interesante ver la decisión de cambiar de portero para ésta segunda fecha, y ese controversial ajuste le dio la razón al entrenador, dejando en la banca al ganador de la Champions League, Lunin. Los seguidores de ésta selección siguen esperando por la mejor versión de Mudryk, quien no ha tenido un buen año con el Chelsea ni tampoco termina de brillar en la selección en éste prestigioso evento.

BÉLGICA sufrió una sorpresiva derrota ante Eslovaquia y en la segunda fecha pudo sacudirse, ganándole el pulso a Rumania. Tal vez tenga que ver con el despertar de Lukaku, su principal figura en el ataque. Justo ahora, Romelu se ubica como el segundo jugador que más ha disparado al arco (8, igualado con Griezmann y Eriksen, y solo superados por CR7) y el qe mejor los ha dirigido (5 al arco). En el terreno de juego se ve la clara influencia de De Bruyne en el estilo de juego y manejo del balón. Se vio mejor su combinación con Lukaku y cómo se buscan para llegar al arco rival. Sin embargo, de seguro estarán interesados en quedar como primeros del grupo, puesto que el segundo probablemente vaya en octavos con equipos como Francia o Austria. Ésta es la primera vez que Ucrania y Bélgica se enfrentarán en una Eurocopa.

PAISES BAJOS vs. AUSTRIA

PAISES BAJOS viene de protagonizar el primer partido sin goles en el torneo junto a Francia. Con todo, es el primero del Grupo D. Paises Bajos ha permitido apenas un solo gol, y en la primera fecha, hablando de bien del trabajo que ha hecho su defensa, donde por cierto está Aké, quien aún se encuentra en la cima del departamento de asistencias del torneo, con 2. Eso habla de que buscan más calidad que cantidad, asegurándose de que cuando disparen tengan una buena posibilidad de anotar.
